Prior to any timber flooring being fitted the subfloor had to be latexed to a flat satisfactory level . Aan Epoxy Resin surface Damp Proof Membrane was applied to the screeded areas. Celotex boards were fitted between joists for insulation and a secondary polythene DPM barrier was fixed to the joists.
